Parking Sensor Seem To Find Something

Parking sensor seem to find something,

 

Hi i stick it in reverse and it beeps, 90% of the time it seem to find something even when nothings is around,

 

its the rear, sometimes just beeps by it self when switch on,

any idea?

Sounds you have a similar problem to me. What I did was to spray the wiring to each sensor from behind the bumper (Mk 3) with WD40 as they were all covered with mud and then smear grease to protect the connectors. Haven't had a problem since.

Hi is the light on the dash switch flashing? can be bad connection broken wire or damaged sensor

Sometimes mine goes off when the bumpers are wet!
